Today we read the book Chick's and Salsa. Once we were done we were able to try chips and salsa for ourselves! Most of our fried loved it and wanted more! Then we did a cute little chicken craft and writing. Check out of pictures to see our Chick's and Salsa adventure!!
Today we got to practice being mother hens! They had to build a nest to keep their baby safe, and take care of them all day! The goal was not to crack the eggs, I don't know that I would let these kiddos babysit, but they sure did try their hardest!!
We have gotten our project funded and underway! We received our egg incubator and supplies for our egg hatching process. We will be learning all about the life cycle of a chicken while getting to see it in real life! We are so excited!!! Today was day one of the 21 day process!
